Willie Nelson unwisely tied his brand with a snowflake drunk-driving hacker named Beto O’Rourke. This enraged a bunch of Nelson's fans.
It's not that I think musicians can't have political opinions (even if most of them are political moron's) -- it's that there are consequences to voicing your opinion. Even if you're famous. So if you want to not alienate 1/2 your audience or more, you should probably donate quietly instead of couple your brands. But heck, to each their own.
