2017.10.06 Knowingly exposing someone to HIV is not a crime

Because they didn't want gays to feel bad about having HIV, they de-criminalized knowingly hiding that you have it and exposing others (by hiding it from a partner and going raw dog, or donating blood/tissue). (SB 239)


There's an argument to be made that HIV isn't that different from other terminal communicable diseases -- but you shouldn't be hiding that risk from others, and that should be criminal as well. Not you allow gays to be exposed to a life altering illness to Virtue Signal your sensitivity towards some narcissistic asshole's feelings.
